Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Develops procurement plan to support key short-term and long-term business needs within geographical scope, collaborates with business and category teams ensuring appropriate resource allocation for effectively plan execution, and sustainable synergy and leverage being built to drive strategic business goals.
  • Take accountability of procurement  financial  and operational performance and its impact on financial and operational performance of the country/cluster.
  • Partners with procurement and stakeholder peer teams to develop negotiation strategy for key negotiations and actively participates in negotiations.
  • Develops and maintains strategic supplier relationships in correspondent with supplier segmentation, with a goal to maximize value of key relationships to gain competitive advantage by building joint capabilities.
  • Drive seamless connection amongst business stakeholders, category teams and shared services to ensure priorities and regional needs are being met in collaborative manner. Ensures appropriate and effective communication is occurring at all organizational levels with consistent messaging.
  • Acts as an escalation point for organizational or cultural change barriers and works to resolve and overcome barriers collaboratively with business partners.
  • Ensures compliance and ethical practices and process in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Directly leads , manages and coaches a team of procurement leads and buyers within the geography, builds solid functional capability and talent plan. Drive improvements in the associate engagement & enablement scores besides reducing attrition rates while improving the functional organizational health built on the premises of trust and collaboration.
  • Accountable for meeting aspirational training goals for 7-Step Strategic Sourcing Process and Enhanced Sourcing Tools. Seeks out new opportunities for application of 7-Step SSP and EST to drive savings opportunities.  Supports team learning goals.
  • Support cluster business transformation needs as business partner from procurement. Drive continuous improvement on process/tools/systems, develop and implement competitive business models with suppliers, and track/obtain new technology, product and solutions in alignment with business transformation needs and for implementation with cross functional collaboration.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of procurement experience and three (3) years people management experience.
  • Good strategic sourcing and supplier management experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience applying change management and project management tools to complete business initiative.
  • Demonstrated cross functional project leadership experience.
  • Cross functional background desired in operations/manufacturing.
  • Structural knowledge covering both Source to Contract and Procure to Pay; Project Management, Change Management, Negotiation skills required.

  • Proficient in interpreting and analyzing financial statements

  • Mastery of procurement policy, processes and tools.

  • Strategic mindset, collaborative facilitation and influence skills,  excellence in communication, self directing, and ability to work in a very fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
