Primary Purpose

 

  • Ensure good brand visibility in relevant consumer touchpoints for Goodyear and build purchase preference over competitor brands
  • Align all market communication content across different platforms (online & offline) to deliver the strategic marketing objectives established during AOP process and to adhere to Goodyear brand guidelines
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns that will enhance Goodyear's consumer value proposition, activate sales demand and build preference for the brand over time
  • Be a custodian of the marketing budget by stewarding the spendings in relevant areas aligned to AOP marketing objectives

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Plan the quarterly/annual marketing calendar for country(ies) assigned, provide & monitor the marketing budgets for individual activities and work closely with all stakeholders (sales/finance/distributors/dealers) to ensure alignment and buy-in
  • Working with the Marketing Manager, co-develop, execute and monitor marketing campaigns, including trade/consumer promotions, POSM, roadshows/events and other value enhancing programs (WFA, retail traffic builders etc..) to drive sell-through and sell-out
  • Co-develop with Region/ASEAN and deploy branding & marcomm content to relevant consumer touchpoints (traditional, online, retail) to ensure visible brand presence that is aligned with Goodyear brand guidelines and AOP goals
  • Responsible for all KPI and content in digital marketing (paid and owned, including social media), working with Region/ASEAN marketing managers to plan and adapt for use in the country(ies) assigned
  • Organize and coordinate dealer conferences, product launches, retail store openings and any other appropriate roadshows or events
  • Monitor competitors activities and report on industry-related news. Assist the Marketing Manager to conduct market opportunity studies as needed and to provide reporting to ASEAN/Region as required

 

Knowledge & Skills

 

  • Able to perform situational analysis within the context of the 4P's in marketing
  • Resourceful and analytical to analyze data and information to derive actionable marketing initiatives
  • Has good working knowledge in digital marketing (SEO/SEM, GDN, social media platforms)
  • Has experience in WOM (word-of-mouth) marketing through key opinion leaders and bloggers
  • Good communication skills to articulate market situation and provide marketing solutions to meet objectives
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills essential for working with Distributors and dealers
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and takes initiative
