The opportunity:
Goodyear are now looking for our new Distribution Controller (Logistik koordinator), you will be replacing our colleague that is moving on to a new exiting step internally.
Reporting to the Market & Distribution Manager, you will be one of two Distributions controller, based in Stockholm at our Nordic Head Office supporting the execution of the supply chain logistics strategy.
As a member of the Distribution Team, you will:
- Implement and execute processes and standards in markets to support operational excellence in market distribution.
- Manage the physical logistics process, controlling and directing logistics service partners contracted for distribution services. You will also liaise with the internal warehousing operations team for warehousing services.
- Track transportation costs and drive a culture or cost reduction within the business.
- Control product distribution in conjunction with warehouse teams and the international transportation team following up any issues in line with agreed standards, contracts and service level agreements.
- Maintain supplier relationships and control of logistic service providers/service companies through KPIs and regular reviews.
- Support the business with daily discrepancy management, providing solutions and support
- Participation in projects and initiatives executed in the market.
- Collaborate with other business functions in the market and with regional logistics execution functions to drive improvements in efficiency and quality.
To join our team, you will need:
- Experience of working in warehousing and transportation, or in another operations function (supply chain knowledge and procurement experience is desirable).
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics or Engineering desirable.
- Supply Chain execution knowledge and strong business orientation.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Analytical skills and the ability to work with international/multicultural teams.
- Discipline in process execution.
- IT literacy including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, verbal and written
