Responsibilities

•    Develop and adapt overall EHS Strategy to site specificities. Propose and influence leadership to integrate EHS objectives in site management review.

•    Follow up and communicate to all level of organization EHS expectations and performance.

•    Ensure all activities are documented with correct Job Risk Assessment (JRA), Ergonomics Assessments, Chemical Assessments with the operations. Facilitate, coach and train associates to identify and report proactively risks.
•    Support the contractors’ management by assessing relevant criteria and method assessment.
•    Act as a technical expert on EHS matters for all projects or change happening onsite (Occupational Health, Machinery, Ergonomics, Chemical Management, etc.). Support the Management of Change process.
•    Implement, document, and coordinate appropriate EHS programs onsite (aligned across the region) according to site risks and requirements (internal and external). (ie: Laser protection, Chemical Management, Isolation and Control of Hazardous Energy (ICHE), Work at Height, Contractor management, Waste segregation etc.), as required with PEC Management System and Goodyear Better Future Framework.

•    Drive safety culture to increase ownership and engagement at every level of the organization.

•    Ensure timely and relevant communication with authorities, including legal reports, emergency notifications, permit requests, etc.

Requirements:

•    Bachelor's Degree in Environment, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

•    3+ years EHS Experience
•    5+ years’ work experience in the industry
•    Manufacturing, chemical, rubber industry preferred 
•    Comprehensive knowledge of EHS related laws, regulations, policies and standards.
•    Attention to detail, good organizational and communication skills.
•    Bilingual in Chinese and English.
 

Base location flexible to be Kunshan or Pulandian site.
