Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Set up and follow the procedure and work instruction of testing lab to do routine testing
2. Record and maintain related documentation as required
3. Lead new testing method development based on new equipment or customers requirement.
4. Undertake work on test improvement and equipment improvement
5. Participate in evaluation of new equipment and interact with equipment vendors
6. Review and analyze tire test results
7. Support lab internal and external lab audit
8. Collaborate with lab engineers in other Goodyear labs globally to ensure sharing of knowledge and implementation of Goodyear lab standards

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or higher Degree in Chemistry, Physical, Mechanical & Electrical engineering or other science and engineering.
2. More than 5 years of lab related work experience, tire testing lab is preferred.
3. Fluent English language skills
4. Rich knowledge and experience on test methods and procedures,
5. Good ability of planning and execution on test development.
6. Training skills and problem solving skills.
7. Good document edit skills for test charters and procedure writing.
8. Statistical analysis, Design of Experiments, LEAN, and other process improvement techniques preferred
9. Good understanding of ISO 17025 requirements
10. Tire knowledge and tire compound knowledge preferred.
11. Good collaboration skills
