ASEAN Payroll Senior Lead

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees execution of all AP HR Services Payroll activities (Payroll cycles, Final pay, Dispute and Inquiry Management, Reporting). Plans daily service delivery in operations to ensure KPIs are met.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the ASEAN Payroll such and perceived as a subject matter expert on respective processes.
  • Oversees compliance monitoring, quality assurance and data protection activities (DOLE Audit and others). Responsible in implementing controls and maintaining appropriate rules to facilitate full compliance and facilitate changes on processes, if required
  • Drive operational efficiency with a focus on continuous improvement, customer service and meeting SLAs
  • If applicable, ensure effective use of enabling technology including case management tool and building up information available to people managers and employees (FAQs, Knowledge Base if available)
  • Performance management and development of a team as a leader of others. Promoting a team culture that is aligned with Goodyear, GBS and HR competencies.
  • Coaching the team to continuously strive for improved performance
  • Handle Timekeeping, attendance, and salary administration
  • Maintains excellent relationships with internal and external customers so as to ensure mutual goals are achieved and up-to-date knowledge of best practices within the Goodyear environment
  • Oversees accurate accounting of salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions
  • Payroll and benefits reconciliation reviewer
  • Preparation and coordination of Compensation and benefits AOP
  • Drive standardization and efficiency to payroll accounting activities

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
  • 6+ years of experience processing multi-country payroll
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll accounting (General Ledger entries and account reconciliations) and tax
  • Previous experience in leading a team and management of remote stakeholders across multiple countries
  • Excellent proficiency of Computer Applications with Advanced working knowledge on Microsoft Office platforms primarily on Excel
  • Organization and prioritization skills, ability to manage workload and respect deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions, managing conflicting priorities, in a fast- paced environment, and being open to change.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, Customer-focused and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral for English and has a passion to interact with different individuals, building and maintaining relationships
  • Possesses high ethical standards and honesty as the is responsible for ensuring a company adheres to required regulations
