Digital Tech Lead

Primary Purpose of the Position

The Digital Tech lead will support Goodyear's Digital Factory strategy. You will work across operations, development, test, and security to automate infrastructure configuration, provisioning, builds, and deployments. In this role, you will work with other leading digital teams to provide new applications and capabilities across the organization. You will be responsible for establishing the technical vision with Solution Architects and managing developers (both onshore/offshore) to turn the vision into reality with an on-time and quality implementation.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicating the unified technical vision for digital products and breaking down the vision into tangible tasks.
• Identifying technical risks and proactively addressing issues that may impact service levels or schedules;    
• Participate in product and department communication and project management process  
• Training, self-development, and ideation   

Job Qualifications

• 5+ years of previous experience in Agile software development projects
• Experience automating, scripting, deploying and maintaining cloud-based production systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code, and other DevOps-related technologies
• Experience hosting a web application
• An understanding of QA testing and concepts     
• AWS and/or Azure architecture and infrastructure, monitoring, and automation
• Jira, Azure DevOps, Github boards, and agile-based development lifecycle management using these tools
• Terraform, Jenkins, Github Actions for automation and infrastructure as code

• Experience leading Agile product development (desired)
• Experience with microservices and containers, hosting web applications, and QA / testing concepts (desired)

• Agile certification (desired)
• Sonarqube, Github Advanced Security for quality assurance (desired)
