Primary Purpose of the Position

 

  • Provide accurate and timely Financial Reporting data
  • Submission and validation of Financial Forecast data
  • Supporting the Centre of Excellence team with preparation of ad-hoc data requests
  • Implementation and identification of process improvements and standardisation

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

Financial Reporting

- Extraction of data for Financial Reporting

- Creation of reporting packs including variance tables and charts

 

Financial Forecasting

- Extraction of data for preparation of forecasts and simulations

- Uploading and Submission of monthly forecast data

- Validation and control checks of submitted data

 

Ad-hoc requests

- Support the Centre of Excellence team in preparation of ad-hoc data

- Flexible work ethic, able to support multiple countries or time zones

 

Process Improvements - Standardisation

- Active participation in implementation of new procedures

- Work to identify opportunities for automatiation or standardisation

- Copy best practice from co-workers and share new methods identified

 

Others:

- Performance of tasks against agreed Service Levels and Metrics

- Maintenance of process documentation

- Provide cover for other team members to support vacation or sickness

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of FP&A - previous experience in a role providing numerical analysis or reporting would be an advantage.
  • Analytical skills and business acumen
  • Experience working with large amounts of data would be a benefit.
  • Previous experience working with SAP, EDW (Cognos) is required
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with high volumes of financial data accurately.
  • Ability to work as part of a remote team.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to listen effectively and articulate queries.
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Other language skills may be a further benefit.
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of finance or business management.

   Desired

  • Previous finance experience in a multinational company
  • Accounting professional accreditation (CPA board pass)
