Job Responsibilities 

  • Manage the functional process of the FP&A department including development and implementation of procedures and methods to monitor work activities and ensure appropriate levels of resource
  • Analyze department budget to determine budget needs or reduction
  • Oversee ongoing operational analysis and prepare appropriate recommendations and reports for management, including, but not limited to, forecast allocation ratios, cash flow calculations, daily and weekly management reports, account data maintenance, EBIT and SAG walks, annual and 5-year operating plans, and other country and regional reports.
  • Performance management and career development as a leader of others
  • Individual coaching and quality conversations, as needed, to address unique and varying needs of associates
  • Enhance associate skills, knowledge and experience through relevant assignments and projects
  • Strengthen talent pipeline to ensure seamless succession and business continuity
  • Lead the delivery of Shared Services Objectives based on the principles of superior customer service, continuous improvement and best-practice management techniques

  • Maintain excellent relationships with internal/external customers, including senior leaders, to ensure mutual goals and industry best practices are achieved within the FP&A environment

  • Set strategic direction for FP&A in the Center and establish appropriate procedures, policies, structure and controls to maximize effectiveness of the team

  • Identify and implement process improvements

  • Develop and maintain performance measurement metrics appropriate for each specific business area

  • Develop and apply practices based on best practice benchmarks, together with comparative operational and KPI dashboard reporting

  • Proactive monitoring of quality of work to address issues before customers are impacted


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of finance or business management
  • Minimum of 3 year's experience in a role providing numerical analysis and reporting, and business partnering
  • Minimum of 2 year's experience managing large team including people leaders
  • Minimum of 2 year's experience led or involved in process migrations, continuous improvement, system implementations, or other transformational activities
  • Previous experience with a multinational, manufacturing company is an advantage
  • Experience in a shared services environment is an advantage
  • Previous experience working with SAP, SAP SAC, EDW (Cognos), TM1 would be a benefit, but not essential
  • Ability to organize and engage team in a remote/virtual working environment
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to listen effectively, articulate ideas and challenge status quo
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Ability to gather insights from multiple data sources, macro and micro indicators, and other key resources
  • Skilled at working with large amounts of data; advanced knowledge on data analytics/science is a plus
  • Amenable to work in dayshift and hybrid setup
