Primary Purpose of the Role:


  • As part of the GBS Leadership Team this position, provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of GBS human resources strategies, including planning, directing and monitoring the implementation to support the overal business target in accordance with the company mission, purpose, values and leadership traits.
  • Set functional objectives and standards to ensure effective HR operations that can support a safe and productive work environment which attracts new recruits and optimize the levels of employee productivity and organization goal achievements.
  • Lead HR activities in the areas of organization development, staffing and termination, compensation and benefits, training and development, labor relations, HR policies/ procedures formulation and implementation, and employee facilities management. Introduce leading practices in these areas and ensure the ownership of people management by the leadership team.


 Job Requirements:


  • Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Legal Management and/or other courses related to Human Resources
  • Masters Degree in Human Resources and related filed an advantage
  • Must have minimum of  ten (10) years  of experiences in multi-national organization with experience of leading and coordinating the overall Human Resources responsibilities cross functionally and within HR function.
  • Preferably from Shared Services or  BPO industry
  • Has strong background in HR related to talent management, organizational development, recruitment, compensation and  & benefits, job and salary structuring, local labour law
  • Has learning orientation, visionary, self-motivated and keen in delivering results
  • Must be knowledgeable in strategy, functional and team leadership
  • Has excellent  interpersonal  and intrapersonal skills to ensure effectiveness in a continuously changing environment
  • Ability to motivate and lead a range of different professionals and diverse workforce
  • Has learning orientation, visionary, self-motivated, keen in delivering results and has excellent business acumen such as understanding in other related areas such as finance, etc.
