Global IT Consultant - Integration: IBM B2Bi / SAP Integration Suite (CPI/SCI)

Primary purpose of the position:

This position is a member of IT SAP COE, reporting to the IT Team Lead or Section Lead who is responsible for their respective technical area. The incumbent will work in partnership with global and cross-functional IT teams. This position is responsible for supporting application development in SAP applications and related systems.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional connectivity requirements and provide technical middleware solutions and documentations.
• Collaborate with the author of the functional specifications to understand the application development requirements and perform middleware development in accordance with the global development standards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues relating to connectivity scenarios and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide support and participate in testing and defect resolution.
• Conduct on-boarding sessions for new hires and contractors.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or related discipline is required.   
• Able to deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a very good command of spoken and written English.
• Able to work flexible working hours as required on special occasions.

Required Technical Qualifications:

• Knowledge in IBM B2Bi and / or SAP Integration Suite (CPI/SCI)
• Format knowledge (IDOC, XML)
• Message Mapping (B2B Integrator Map Editor or IFlow artifact )
• Adapter knowledge (File, IDOC, SOAP)

Good to have Technical Qualifications

• Format knowledge (JSON, EDIFACT, ANSI X12)
• Java knowledge
• Adapter knowledge (JDBC, OFTP2, Rest, Mail, AS2)
• Agile development knowledge
• Additional functional module knowledge on SAP SD/MM, ABAP, HANA
