Primary Purpose of the Position
- Provide reliable, consistent and excellent IT service to business operations
- Primary on-site contact point between business and IT in Philippines
- Work with regional and global teams on activities and requirements around Philippines
- Administer GRBS and GPI IT operations and manage/monitor AOP for GBS and GPI IT infrastructure.
- Define, manage and continuous improvement of deskside support team and processes
- IT process owner for "Helpdesk" and "PC & OS" infrastructure work streams
Job Responsibilities
- Direct manager to IT support team in GBS and GPI offices
- Provide executive level IT support for key GBS management executives
- Represent IT on business projects when opportunity arises
- Prepare and monitor IT AOP for GBS and GPI offices
- SOX Control – General IT: Review and test ITGC procedure. Generate SOX report and send to business for review
- Manage new and renewal of IT contract with purchasing and vendor. Follow up the execution of IT contract
- End user PC hardware owner for GRBS. Engage with Global on discussions around PC standards. Manage IT hardware Inventory
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any related courses
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (desired)
- Full time professional experience in managing IT infrastructure for 3 years.
- Full time Systems Engineer or Support Engineer role with at least 4 years experience
- Prior experience in IT operation in a contact centre environment is hugely beneficial.
- Ideally should have led a small team of successful individuals
- Ability to multitask and manage projects and operational support simultaneously
- IT infrastructure expert especially in end user support. Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing software. Sound understanding of operations in centralised IT contact centre environment.
- Skills in administering Cisco LAN, Windows servers, VMware, VOIP phone system, and Windows 7.
- Management skills to lead and provide guidance to a small team
- Good command of English spoken and written with experience in providing direct support to end users
- Willingness to work after hours to complete tasks on hand
- Experince on being a hands-on leader
