The Associate Business Process Lead supports the execution of the global business process excellence strategy roadmap by leading process improvement initiatives aimed at delivering standardization and consistency across the global Procurement footprint. This role is responsible for conducting internal assessments to define current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization. The incumbent also benchmarks industry best practices and provides actionable recommendations. Additionally, the role leads the Procurement knowledge management process, including the development and maintenance of supplier profiles, industry data analysis, and other relevant reporting to support Procurement associates globally.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learning and Development: Develops, revises, and executes training sessions in-person and virtually. Responsible for maintaining curriculums and recording learning in the Learning Management System. Accountable for meeting aspirational training goals for the 7-step strategic sourcing process and enhanced sourcing tools. Responsible for the development/execution of new associate on-board training (passport).
- Building Organizational Capability: Manages the tracking and reporting of training completion. Accountable for meeting aspirational training goals for the 7-step strategic sourcing process and enhanced sourcing tools. Will be responsible for coordinating/communication efforts around individual development plan (IDP) progress for the Procurement team.
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Directly interacts with stakeholders (within and outside of Procurement) to ensure the exchange of necessary communication and feedback. Includes responsibility for Procurement team webpages (policy/playbook, engagement with external sources for sustainability efforts, and maintenance of subscription services).
- Standardized Deployment of Strategic Initiatives: Supports the execution of the global business process excellence strategy roadmap by leading process improvement initiatives to deliver standardization and consistency across the global Procurement footprint.
- Business Process Management: Conducts internal assessments to define current state processes and identify opportunities for improvement and standardization.
- Compliance and Reporting: Owns master data in records databases related to compliance and other key metrics connected to organizational capability development.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Prior experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related Operational function preferred.
- Must have 6-7 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related operational function
- Knowledge of core procurement processes and project management/change management fundamentals.
- Strong financial/statistical analysis and organization skills.
- Microsoft Access/Excel skills and/or other database programs.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process and mathematical modeling - Desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to follow procedures and sequential processes
- Critical thinking skills to analyze/ review orders and drive process efficiencies
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work on own initiative
