Primary Purpose of this Position
You will be a key member of the Global IT Strategic Support Team (ITSS), serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP TM and LE-Transportation. Working in close partnership with global and cross-functional business and ITSS workstream leaders, your focus will be on identifying permanent fixes and driving continuous improvements within the module. Responsibilities include developing, configuring, and supporting long-term functional solutions at a global level.
Job Responsibilities
- You will provide Level II incident resolution by following existing documentation.
- You will be accountable for ensuring failed SAP TM / LE-Transportation jobs are promptly recovered (firefighting).
- You will create new documentation for issues that are not yet documented.
- You will collaborate with various SAP workstreams to identify and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
- You will submit Autosys job scheduling requests related to SAP TM / LE-Transportation.
- You will monitor and troubleshoot frequent job failures, especially those with high business impact, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- You will work closely with workstream leads to gather and document requirements for continuous improvement initiatives.
- You will follow established procedures to execute and monitor scheduled jobs, ensuring compliance with defined timelines.
- You will maintain comprehensive documentation for Autosys job flows, dependencies, and related operational procedures.
Job Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- You have a minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience with SAP TM / LE-Transportation.
- You will be fully dedicated to monitoring and supporting SAP TM, with opportunities to learn other modules depending on bandwidth and priorities.
- You possess a strong understanding of business needs and are committed to delivering prompt, efficient, and high-quality service to stakeholders.
- You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of English.
- You bring strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and you take ownership and accountability for your work.
- You are flexible to work mid-shift, night-shift, or other schedules as needed.
