Primary Purpose of the Role:

As Service Delivery Specialist, you will lead and support the external L2 hosting team. You will be responsible for supporting the service for all Windows and Linux (Red Hat and Suse) over the regions: Americas, Europe and Middle East, Asia.

Job Responsibilities

• You will act as L2 Team Lead: Provide leadership and assistance to the vendor managed service provider Level 2 team, offering guidance and expertise in Windows and Unix L2 work as needed.
• Ypu will provide leadership and assistance to the vendor managed service provider Level 2 team, offering guidance and expertise in Windows and Unix L2 work as needed.
• You will collaborate with internal GIS teams (Network, Hosting, Security, Tools)
• You will follow up Incidents, service requests, change control management with Service Now
• You will handle Root Cause Analysis for significant server related incidents
• You will oversee the entire lifecycle of servers, including installation, configuration modifications, and decommissioning tasks
• You will collaborate closely with other GIS and Cyber Security teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of services
• You will coordinate the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures 
• You will be responsible for the following reporting:
  • Progress using CMDB, Flexera data  and Risk Acceptance Reports.
  • OS remediation project progress
  • Follow up device count with CMDB data
  • Other operational reports as needed

Job Requirements

• You have minimum 5 years of experience in server administration and support roles
• You have proficiency in Windows and Unix server environments.
• You have strong understanding of server hardware and configurations.
• You have experience with change management processes, ITSM tools and CMDB tools.
• You have demonstrated successful experience in developing efficient and effective solutions to hosting support problems.
• You have relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Red Hat Certified Engineer. ITIL) preferred.
