Job responsibilities:
- Optimize sales stability by managing lag 2 forecasts within tolerance, driving long term planning with customers and key stakeholders for accurate future projections.
- Own sales forecast accuracy control and improvement initiative, with deep focus on granular analysis (SKU by Ship to Party) across M,M-1 and M-2 to enhance operational stability.
- Drive strategic demand planning by developing rolling 18 month sales forecast in collaboration with global manufacturing plants and translating these into precise purchasing and shipment forecast to drive optimal supply chain execution.
- Conduct critical (Demand/ Supply/ Inventory) DSI review meetings with each customer, actively gaining insights into evolving finished goods market dynamics to drive adaptive inventory planning and responsiveness.
- Active monitoring of current month order intake to ensure consistent alignment with established projections to maintain optimal inventory levels and production schedules.
- Develop and execute comprehensive customer relationship management strategies, enhancing engagement, addressing needs proactively and translating feedback into actionable strategies.
- Achieve optimal demand-supply alignment, engineer solutions for supply chain disruptions, addressing both shortfalls and surpluses and dismantle supply bottlenecks to enhance efficiency and build a more resilient supply network.
- Functional responsibility to define and execute the best sourcing plan to fulfill customers demand under challenging market constraints.
- Strategically manage back orders and control inventory flow, employing forward looking planning to avert shortfalls, particularly during seasonal peaks and around public holidays to ensure consistent supply chain performance and minimize disruption.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by rigorously tracking supplier stability and performance ensuring precise and timely delivery of all requested materials to ensure continuity and quality of the production process in the manufacturing plants.
- Investigate common challenges encountered in maintaining supplier stability with proposed solutions and preventive measures. Identify strategies for fostering continuous improvement in supplier relationships and performance to enhance long term supply chain reliability.
- Drive operational excellence through value stream mapping and work process standardization to systematically identify and capitalize on opportunities for enhanced efficiency, significant total cost of ownership reductions and sustained continuous improvement process throughout the entire supply chain and internal operations.
- Strategically analyze and mitigate short-midterm demand and supply risks, leading the development and implementation of comprehensive contingency planning and business continuity initiatives to build a resilient and responsive supply chain.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or any related field.
- 5-7 years Supply Chain management experience with exposure at regional/ global level, FMCG industry working background is preferred
- Deep level understanding of demand and supply planning , inventory management, logistics and transportation, strategic sourcing and procurement.
- High technology proficiency ( ERP systems, complex formula and advanced data manipulation of MS Excel techniques) and financial acumen for cost analysis essential to optimizing supply chain performance
- Understanding of local regulations and international trade laws (ie, Department of Transportation rules and standards, import-export laws, customs procedures) amidst evolving market conditions.
- 'Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication including negotiation, conflict resolution and conveying complex information simply.
- Problem Solving: Critical thinking and adaptability to navigate challenges
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and formulate contingency plans and drive innovation
- Change Management: Drive and manage changes in technologies and processes
- Leadership, Influence, and Relationship Management in fostering strong partnership across the supply chain ecosystem
- Supply chain related certifications ie. CSCP, CPIM
