Primary Purpose of the Position:
As part of your role, you will coordinate and execute shipment planning and order creation across multiple regions, including APAC, EMEA, LAT, and NAT. You will manage import requests and booking confirmations with distributors and partners such as Tyremax. You are expected to monitor shipment status closely and proactively resolve any order-related issues to ensure timely delivery. Additionally, you will maintain accurate purchase order pricing, perform goods receipt and issue operations, and support reporting and reconciliation activities for effective order and shipment tracking.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will create and manage shipment plans and sales orders in SAP or equivalent systems.
- You will submit and track import requests and manage booking confirmations with distributors.
- You will handle escalations related to order creation, pricing discrepancies, and shipment issues.
- You will perform goods receipt and issue transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
- You will collaborate with regional teams to reconcile purchase orders and shipment data weekly.
- You will maintain comprehensive documentation and communicate order status to stakeholders.
- You will communicate with:
- Internal: Supply planners, sales teams, finance, and customer service for coordination and issue resolution.
- External: Distributors, Tyremax, logistics providers, and customs agents to ensure smooth shipment execution.
Job Qualifications:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, export order management, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination.
- You have exposure to multi-regional import/export processes and shipment planning.
- You have experience working with ERP systems such as SAP for order and shipment management.
- You have a proven track record in resolving order-related issues and managing distributor relationships.
- You possess strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles, including import/export compliance.
- You are proficient in SAP or equivalent ERP systems for order creation, shipment tracking, and goods receipt.
- You demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
- You bring strong analytical skills for monitoring shipment status and resolving discrepancies.
- You are able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You have knowledge of regional shipping regulations and documentation (a plus).
