Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Performs timely response and resolution to requests and incidents raised through various channels of support including but not limited to ticketing systems, email, chat, in-person, phone, etc. Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions. Follow through to resolution, or escalation to appropriate team, while maintaining appropriate documentation requirements.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory for all hardware and software assets and site technical documentations. Comply with Global IT Security requirements for Antivirus and Patch Management support and remediation efforts. Perform Change Management Requests with testing, deployment and representation during CMR reviews or Outage bridges.
  • Work to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in more than one area vital to the success of the Center. Complete all training and achieve all metric requirements. Actively participate in site engagement activities.
  • Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs, providing references and support. Contribute to and maintain systems standards. Proactively address technical issues affecting the center. Document changes to the standard operating environment. Interact with Operations and Global counterpart to address concerns and represents Site IT during meetings.
  • Flexibility in work schedules, including evening, weekend, holiday and rotating shift requirements (scheduled in advance). Attending CMR implementation and breakfix incident resolutions that may have on-call requirements. Additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Technology Management Team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
  • Customer oriented attitude, strong work ethics, integrity and accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Proven work experience supporting work environments in a shared service environment.
  • Minimum of 2-year experience in the same field
  • Knowledgeable of installing applications on desktop/laptop environment, troubleshooting the issues, taking backups of the data in the hard disk and make necessary upgrades to the system.
  • Ability to work and resolve hardware, software and basic network problems.
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers, scanners, and scripting tools.
  • Active Directory Management, Remote Support software, Change Management Process and Procedures.
