Primary Purpose of the Position

The Hosting Services Senior Analyst is a service supporting role primarily responsible for the transitional and operational tasks and duties in support of hosting service implementations that span across a broad range of global services and solutions (Server, Storage, Linux/Windows Operating Systems, Virtualization, and Datacenter Facilities)

This position will be a member of the Global IT Infrastructure Services organization responsible for professional and technical work related to hosting services.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will manage Service Transition Processes, including Knowledge Management, Change Management, Asset & Configuration Management, Release & Deployment, Transition Planning & Support, Service Validation & Testing, and Evaluation.
• You will manage Service Operation Processes, such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Event Management, Request Fulfillment, Access Management, and Operations Management.
• You will support existing services and assist in deployment.
• You will work with global, regional, and local IT teams by consulting with more senior-level team members and providing intermediate consultation for responsible services.
• You will participate as a team member on medium/large projects and provide technical leadership for small project teams.
• You will lead beginner to intermediate problem resolution and documentation, typically impacting a functional area, and participate in troubleshooting complex problems that span functional areas.
• You will plan, document, and implement system changes.
• You will perform reporting against your area of support.
• You will leverage data to identify, justify, recommend, and implement system improvements, utilizing new or existing technologies.
• You will troubleshoot intermediate problems reported by internal customers, systems, or team members, escalating to upper-level associates as appropriate.
• You will monitor, debug, and install hosting solutions as well as related software and systems, and may be required to do intermediate configuration or system modifications.
• You will perform intermediate complexity service requests, installs, upgrades, refreshes, backups, restores, patching, granting access, modifying configurations, and gathering KPI data using well-defined processes.

Job Requirements:

• You must have experience in Server Management, preferably Windows, though Linux is also acceptable.
• You must have experience in Virtualization, preferably with VMware.
• You must have experience in scripting, preferably PowerShell, with Bash and/or Ansible also acceptable.
• You must have knowledge in Cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
• You must have knowledge in Web Server Software (Apache, Nginx, MS IIS) as a plus.
• Knowledge in Database Management as a plus.
• You must understand business needs and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business, anticipating, identifying, and meeting end-user needs while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• You must convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, both orally and in writing, in a manner that is easily understood, authoritative, and actionable for the business, actively listening to peers’ input.
• You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, acting decisively and swiftly, identifying problems and driving towards solutions while taking on responsible roles and accountability for outcomes.
• You must be amenable to working in a Mid Shift and Hybrid setup.
