The Warehouse Associate operates a forklift, handheld mobile computer and / order forms general labor in the warehouse that includes warehousing pallets of tires, order picking (including the manual movement of tires from one pallet to another or exchanging propane tanks) and tailgating loaders. The ideal candidate will have on-the-job experience using one or more of the following pieces of equipment: forklift, order picker, handheld mobile computer. In this role, working with high-speed production machinery including basic troubleshooting of mechanical systems using simple hand tools will be required. 

• Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected. 

Shift Information: 12-hour shifts, must be able to work day or night shift. 

• 2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week) 

Work Environment: Distribution Center in Texarkana, AR 

• The job is within a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, fumes, and noise. 
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes. 

Job specific details include, but are not limited to: 

• Driving a sit-down forklift most of the time 
• Lifting / carrying tires weighing 50-75 pounds as needed 
• Lifting / carrying and safely exchanging propane tanks weighing 60 pounds 
• Operating a pallet jack, order picker and/or handheld mobile computer 
• Working with high-speed production 

Basic Qualifications: 

• High school diploma, GED or the Workforce Center's Career Readiness Certification (CRC) with a minimum of Silver Certificate level 
• Must be at least 18 years of age  
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future  
• Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
