The Opportunity

Implements an Airbus key account strategy for all Airbus subsidaries (Airbus Commercial, Airbus Military and Airbus Helicopters) in alignment with Global Aviation and Regions. Accountable for leading a cross-functional team to secure Goodyear new business wins for relevant Airbus platforms. Responsible for "on-time and on-budget" market introduction timing as reflected in sales plans. Responsible for collaborating with regional teams (GM's, Sales, Technical) to support the market introduction of relevant Airbus fitments with current or new customers.


Main Duties And Responsibilities
 

  • Manage Customer Relationship: Oversees Airbus daily management for customer Technical and Commercial inquiries, complaints, RFIs, RFQs and RFPs.  Acts as first responder and provides liaison between internal Goodyear resources (such as Technical, legal, engineering, finance, marketing, supply & logistics and management) and Airbus' team where necessary.
  • Contribute to PCP input: Fully support  the introduction of new products for OEMs in coordination with all Goodyear involved functions, in line with the established processes, including the PCP, Stage Gate process
  • Internal interaction: Frequently meets with Global Leadership, GM's and Sales teams globally to support market penetration of Airbus fitments with relevant airlines or MRO's and is the subject matter expert that can make the difference in interactions with existing or new customers
  • Global coordination both Technically, Quality and other teams as needed: Coordinate globally with the technical, legal and quality teams to answer to all Airbus requirements. Prepare new tire plants, Global purchasing, Global quality, materials team, technical team and Global supply chain for the recuring Industrial Process Control Assesments.
  • Support customer strategic planning activities: Contribute significantly to define and develop business planning and strategies for the OEMs, including AOP, RvCC, Roadmap - Deliver related (technical) background data
     

To Join Our Team You Will Need
 

  • Commercial and Engineering experience in the aviation (Automotive) industry (5-7) years
  • Ability to analyze business data to recognize emerging trends/opportunities and make fact-based decisions
  • Technical and Project Management knowledge is required
  • Successful operation or understanding of a business in a competitive Sales/Marketing environment
  • Strategic Selling, Technical account Management and Planning experience
  • Thorough understanding of the Aviation (Tire) Industry, including competition's approach to each segment
  • Understanding of the interdependence of technology, production and marketing organizations on one another
  • Fluency in English  (French would be beneficial)
