Performance Test Driver & Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define test protocols, organize logistics before and after tests: laboratory and track tests (vehicles) and ensure quality and timely execution of test.        
  • Develop and release new vendors and/or new tests and support truck remote testing activities/joint tests with OEMs.        
  • Close cooperation with Goodyear Innovation Center*Luxembourg/Goodyear Inovation Center*Akron (GIC*L/GIC*A)  testing operation and Asian development team.        


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Technical Engineering preferably
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in tire or vehicle testing and logistics
  • Good knowledge of and/or contacts in Asian testing world will be considered as an asset
  • Good organizational skills
  • Experience in vehicle testing (subjective/objective) - tire performance, performance evaluation, noise and braking
  • Ability and experiences to drive cars to evaluate tire and vehicle handling and ride comfort performances.
  • Experience working in Tire or Automotive Industry
  • Good communication skills in Japanese and English
