Senior Sales Operation Planner

About You

You will be a degree qualified, preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business, analytically minded individual with a sound understanding of supply chain and business management principles. You will have great communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Multi-site experience would be an advantage
  • Strong influential and interpersonal skills. 
  • Good understanding of systems capability for reporting & forecasting
  • High organizational skills
  • Great people- and relationship-building skills
     

About the Role 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager OTR AP, the primary purpose of this role is to coordinate the OTR operational processes (Sales Demand forecast and order delivery).

  • Create and maintain a demand plan based on demand meetings with the sales team and customers, that can be used to create a supply requirement.
  • Create the sales forecast and monitor deliveries against the forecast. Act as the facilitator between Sales and Supply Chain for demand and supply activities within the OTR S&OP process.
  • Reconcile the supply confirmation from the factory with the demand request.
  • Maintaining documentation for sales and production as required to support the S&OP Forecast.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate processes between Sales and Supply Chain to ensure operational excellence that enables sales execution. 
  • Assist Sales with the forecast & execution of orders to ensure sales forecast accuracy. Assistance will include communication with the sales team to ensure forecast accuracy, ensuring internal and external customers have purchase orders in place to deliver against the plan and reporting on delivery schedules against the forecast.
  • Work closely with Supply chain, factory, and finance personnel to ensure accurate integration of the S&OP Process. The role will have input into reporting including the S&OP system, inventory reporting, the cost to serve, and transport and warehousing costs.
