Primary Purpose of Position:
-
Responsible for all phases of facilities maintenance activities from conception to completion including administrative functions, coordination of research both internal & external & execution of projects including directing installation of equipment & facilities. Assigned projects & responsibilities are complex, working with a minimal level of supervision.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize SAP PM computerized maintenance management system for work planning, recordkeeping & overall asset management.

Maintains plant services equipment for stream, condensate return, river water, compressed air. Accountable for delivery systems uptime. Responsible for the coordination of shutdown maintenance work of services delivery systems (typically on holidays).

Prepares detailed engineering specifications in conjunction with the plant engineering group & outside resources. Prepares functional specifications & holds design review meetings to monitor & approve progress.

Coordinate’s buildings & grounds maintenance including & not limited to: Snow removal, landscaping, roof maintenance, walls, windows, doors maintenance, floor maintenance, internal & external painting, office renovations, settling pond, water (city, river & well) service, sewer service & HVAC systems.

Actively pursues energy conservation activities & projects. Monitor’s utility costs.
Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering
Experience:
-
7 or more years of experience (progressive) in facilitie management, working in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
-
Demonstrated analytical & problem-solving skills.
-
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate & prioritize work requirements for skilled trades.
-
Good written & verbal interpersonal communication skills.
-
Strong PC skills utilizing SAP, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access & Project Software applications.
