Chef de section (Superviseur) – Valleyfield
 
Fonctions principales:
•    Soutenir la production afin d’assurer la qualité du produit livré à temps au client ou à la prochaine étape de production;
•    Rencontrer les objectifs d’affaires en incluant sans se limiter, les coûts, la qualité, la santé et sécurité et la livraison. Coacher, développer et soutenir les employés horaires;
•    Tenir les employés imputables de l’atteinte de leurs objectifs;
•    Transmettre et traduire les stratégies du centre d’affaires au niveau du plancher.
 
Responsabilités principales:

•    Diriger et promouvoir la santé et sécurité dans tous ses aspects des opérations de l’usine;
•    Amener à l’adhésion des politiques et procédures, audits, pratiques, instructions de travail de l’opération;
•    Développer les employés et faire adopter la culture du travail d’équipe;
•    Développer, maintenir et stimuler l’amélioration continue de son équipe.
 
Exigences:
•    Diplôme d’études collégiales jumelé avec une expérience pertinente d’une à trois années ou 5 ans d’expérience pertinente dans le secteur manufacturier,
•    Expérience manufacturière dans le secteur du mélange de caoutchouc est un atout important;
•    Requiert l’habileté à gérer des taches multiples;
•    Excellentes habiletés en communications et résolution de problèmes;
•    Maîtrise des programmes de santé et sécurité, qualité, ressources humaines et budgétaires;   
•    Habileté à diriger une équipe.

Primary Purpose:

•    Maintain the smooth and timely flow of plant production ensuring a quality product is delivered to the next operation and customer. 
•    Achieve the business goals of the operation including cost, quality safety, and delivery. Coach, develop, and support hourly associates. 
•    Hold associates accountable for attainment of objectives.
•    Drive Business Center strategies to the floor level.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
•    Safely maintain the smooth and timely flow of plant production, ensuring a quality product is delivered to the next operation/customer. 
•    Lead and promote safety in all aspects of the plant.
•    Lead adherence to all procedures, audits, practices, and standard work within the operation
•    Develop employees and foster a team culture.
•    Develop, maintain and provide continuous improvement in his/her team.
 
Requirements:
•    College Degree or 5 years relevant work experience.
•    Minimum of one - three years relevant work experience, manufacturing.
•    Experience in tire manufacturing processes preferred
•    Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks.
•    Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
•    Knowledge of safety and quality procedures, HR policies, and budgeting.
•    Ability to lead teams
