About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our EMEA IT Retail team as Expert, working side-by-side with a highly effective Consumer Retail team on development of modern solutions empowering our business, team and personal success. 

You will be joining the team in charge of Goodyear‘s Retail Point of Sale System in Eastern European countries, making sure that the operation of the system for all Tire Retail Stores is guaranteed, including performance, full functionality and the end-user support. You will drive projects to enhance the functionality of the system and the rollout to additional Point of Sales.  You will have the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert, exercising and leveraging technical, consultative and influencing skills to engage with internal & external business customers. Through your daily responsibilities you will hone your ability to rapidly understand business technical needs, how it enables current and future IT initiatives, and deliver back an insightful and innovative cross-functional and system solutions that targets those needs.  As a Goodyear Expert, you will proactively advise and contribute to the medium and long-term IT Retail planning in co-operation with the IT Retail team to support the IT and Company Strategy.  

The team is based in Warsaw, but we are open to also accept people working from home, if they are willing to travel from time to time to Warsaw.


In this role you will: 

  • Support Goodyear’s Franchise partners to use Goodyear’s own Point of Sales solution for Tire Fitters, Garages and Car Service stations.   
  • Model and optimize business processes in ​​the area of sales and related subjects like Car Service, stock management, financial accounting and controlling.  
  • Maximize customer satisfaction in processes or systems through efficient and effective interaction as well as collaboration with all stakeholders. 
  • Align internal and external partners on the further development of the solution with a focus to define standardized processes. 
  • Work in an international team with multiple stakeholders to maintain and enhance Goodyears international solution. 


What you will bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.  
  • Alternatively, 3-5 years’ work experience in the field of IT Business Software. 


English is a must; other Eastern European language will be an asset.  


  • Experience and knowledge in project management. 
  • Experience with small sized ERP solutions, preferable Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central will be an asset. 
  • Experience with Retail, preferably in the automotive industry, will be an asset.
