Are you looking to join a fast-paced organization that offers a unique work experience? Does providing support to a team with strong communication and attention to detail sound like something you would excel at? Cooper Tire is currently seeking motivated and organized candidates to perform various clerical and administrative duties.

 

In this entry level role you will be responsible for insuring that all shipping documents are completed accurately. From that point when you feel satisfied as to the accuracy and completeness of the information, you will enter data to create shipping documents. Other tasks will involve assisting the traffic coordinator with preparing shipping orders, scheduling, assigning load sequences, as well as assisting in general office duties required in any efficient office. These include but are not limited to: answering telephone calls, preparing reports, filing documents, etc.

 

This is a Monday - Friday day shift role - starting around 7:00 am and ending around 5:00 pm. May, on occasion, be required to work overtime, other hours, or fill in in the absence of other personnel. Assist in taking physical inventory.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time
  • Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to distinguish priorities and accuracy in maintaining records required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team structure with a variety of people
  • Fills in for other administrative positions as needed and directed by management
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
  • Highly organized; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with customers insuring professional and timely responses to appropriate parties
  • Eagerness to learn, with strong work ethic with the ability to handle changing demands

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • GED or High School Diploma

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree
