Primary Purpose and Main Responsibilities
•    Lead the monthly demand planning and S&OP processes for the APU Cluster. Develop demand forecast at multiple level of aggregation for different time horizons.
•    Responsible for facilitating cross-functional discussions and agreeing upon 18-month unconstraint demand forecast, by combining statistical models, understanding of market/clientele demand, trends and operational/supply chain capabilities.
•    Provide demand analytics that identify main short and medium-term risks and opportunities that affect organization goals and objectives.
•    Drive continuous process improvement, working tirelessly to elevate the S&OP process to a Class-A category.
•    Responsible for Master Data Governance which includes INTI / CHAS / LATU certificates 
•    Consistently meet or exceed operational KPIs (e.g. Forecast Accuracy, Gross Margin per SKU, Bias targets).  
 

Main Responsabilites:
•    Support the sales team on the implementation and execution of a monthly forecasting collaboration process with Key Accounts.
•    Set-up and communicate an annual calendar of the different meetings needed to produce consensus-driven estimates: Forecast, Demand/Sales and Operations Planning (Sales Sig Off, S&OP) meetings, through which Sales, Marketing and Finance inputs are incorporated.
•    Chair meetings and facilitate discussions by stimulating cross-functional engagement in the process. Drive consensus and agree on 18-month forecast of unconstraint demand; influence market-back driven portfolio in support of the Cluster strategic growth initiatives.   Review PBU Phase In/Phase Out schedule to ensure that SKUs are forecasted on sales plans as defined by the PBU portfolio strategy.
•    Analyze the 18-month forecast for A and B markets vs AOP, TMS and APUGOST strategies, providing statistical views, analytical insight and recommendations to Sales.
•    Evaluate the impacts of marketing events, promotions, pricing changes, product-phase-in/out, etc
•    Maintain statistical records for forecast analysis. Submit the final data set through SAP and Hyperion systems.  
•    Populate forecast accuracy and bias metrics to perform root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
•    Implement actions oriented to promote S&OP best practices throughout the Cluster; is a key player in supporting the regional agenda to achieve Class A category.
•    Continuously strive to streamline processes, demand planning analytics and business growth execution (e.g. volume by markets and key accounts, growth %s by Target Market Segment and SKUs, seasonal promotions etc.).
•    Elaborate various managerial reporting at global, regional and local levels as required; monitor, analyze and report KPIs/metrics & SLAs (e.g. Forecast Accuracy, Gross Margin per SKU, Bias targets).  

 

Education
Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related discipline.

 

Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in related business areas, and 3 years proven experience in demand or supply planning area.  
•    Experience with forecasting and sales or operation analytics
•    Experience leading an S&OP process
•    Supply planning & Inventory management knowledge 
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•    Ability to elaborate statistical forecast and demand analytics.
•    Ability to understand numeric-driven managerial and financial reporting such as AOP, Sales Forecasting, Gross Margin per SKU.  
•    Ability to perform root cause analysis for continuous process improvement.
•    Knowledge and management of specifics KPI's for the area.
•    Fluent in English and Spanish.
•    Proficient in MS Office and Advance-level of MS Excel (pivot tables, hyperlinks, complex formulas, macros).
•    Proficient with Enterprise Resource Planning application.
•     Ability to work with virtual teams in an international environment.
